ALCALICA is a band based in Berlin and Mytilini playing live industrial/world music with vocals and traditional wooden instruments such as santoor, Greek baglamas and African kalimba. we play in ever changing constellations adapting the music to the place and the people we play with.
Alcalica has released 5 vinyls on photovoltaic records available from internet and physical shops, check photovoltaic recs. Doublemoon records has just released a remix of Babazula's Asiklarin Sözü Kalir by Alcalica: Doublemoon remixed 2.
ALCALICA is self managed, we are looking for booking and management and always interested in dates of gigs and projects such as films, dance, theatre music and sound design to collaborate on.
